The matter is taken up out of turn at the request of learned counsel for the petitioners. 2. The present application has been filed by the applicants/petitioners through learned counsel, seeking release of the deposited amount to the tune of Rs. 1,35,000/- (Rupees one lakh thirty-five thousand only). 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the interest component, calculated to the tune of Rs. 1,35,000/-, has been deposited by way of cheque dated 15th May, 2026 and is required to be released in favour of the petitioners in terms of the judgment dated 15th May, 2026 passed by the learned Writ Court in WP(C) No. 67/2023. 4. For the reasons stated in the application and submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioners, the application is allowed. 5. The Registry is directed to release the amount of Rs. 1,35,000/- (Rupees one lakh thirty-five thousand only) in favour of the petitioners, in conformity with the aforesaid judgment, subject to due verification and completion of all codal formalities. 6. The application stands disposed of. CCP(S) No. 76/2026 7. Since the contempt petition pertains only to the release of the interest component amounting to Rs. 1,35,000/- (Rupees one lakh thirty-five thousand only), and the same stands released, the proceedings in the present contempt petition are closed.
