Ralte, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. Lalnunhlui, learned Government Advocate for the respondent Nos. 1 to 5. This Interlocutory Application under Order 1 Rule 10(2) r/w Section 151 of the Code of Civil Procedure is preferred by the applicant for impleadment of Mara Autonomous District Council represented by the Chief Executive Member, Siaha District and Executive Secretary of the MADC as respondent Nos. 6 & 7 respectively in WP(C) No. 112/2025. The learned counsel for the applicant submits that the respondent authorities have filed their affidavit-in-opposition admitting the claim of the petitioners. However, he submits that the Mara Autonomous District Council and the Executive Secretary under whom the petitioners are serving have not been impleaded in this petition as party and to effectively adjudicate the dispute, being raised in I.A.(Civil) No. 114/2016, they are required to be impleaded as respondent Nos. 6 & 7. The learned counsel for the respondent Nos. 1 to 5 submits that she has no objection. Accordingly, taking note of the submission of the learned counsel for both the parties, the I.A stands allowed. Page No.# 8/8 Let Mara Autonomous District Council, represented by the Chief Executive Member, Siaha District and the Executive Secretary of the MADC, be impleaded as respondent Nos. 6 & 7 in WP(C) No. 112/2025. In terms of the above, this I.A stands disposed of. In view of the order passed in this I.A., the learned counsel for the petitioners in WPC(C) No. 112/2025, shall file amended cause title within a period of 1 (one) week from today.
