Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st to 5th respondents to conduct enquiry and take necessary action against the 6th to 15th respondents to remove the encroachments in the stream poramboke land situated in Survey Nos.187/3, 188/7 at Peelamedu Village, Vanapuram Taluk, Kallakurichi District, by considering the petitioner’s representation dated 28.05.2025 preferred to the 1st, 2nd and 4th respondents in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court. Since the respondents have already initiated action against the private respondents on the allegation of encroachment, this petition need not be kept pending and is disposed of with a direction that the enquiry shall be concluded as early as possible, preferably within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
