Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that from the exclusive possession of the petitioner allegedly 12 kgs. of ganja was recovered and petitioner has been detained in custody for five months. Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the subject-matter of the case relates to recovery of 32.670 kgs. of ganja. It has also been submitted that charge-sheet has already been submitted and date has been fixed for consideration of charges. Having considered the quantum of seizure of contraband, at this stage, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. 2 Petitioner would renew his prayer for bail after the evidence of the seizure list witnesses is over. The application for bail, being CRM (NDPS) 574 of 2026, is, thus, dismissed. All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
