Let affidavit-of-service, as filed in Court, be kept on record. 2. In spite of service, none appears on behalf of the school authorities. 3. The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher. She has made an application for transfer on her own seeking on the ground of distance. The said application is pending since December, 2025. 4. The rejection of the earlier applications made by the petitioner, seeking transfer, will not be an impediment on the authorities to consider the present application of the petitioner on the ground of distance, pending since December, 2025. 5. Respondent no. 8 will consider the application of the petitioner and dispose of the same by April 10, 2026 and will forward the same, if found eligible along with ‘No Objection Certificate’ and other 2 requisites to the concerned District Inspector of Schools (S.E.) by April 20, 2026. 6. If the application is forwarded to the concerned District Inspector of Schools, he will consider the same in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible. 7. The suspension of ‘Utsashree Portal’ will not be an impediment for the concerned authority to consider the application for transfer of the petitioner. The same shall be considered in an offline mode. 8. With the aforestated directions, the writ petition is, thus, disposed of. 9. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. 10.Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on usual undertaking. (Reetobroto Kumar Mitra, J.)
