The petitioners filed this writ petition seeking the following reliefs: i. Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate order or direction quashing the ineligible voters list dated nil order dated nil issued by respondent No.4 vide Annexure-C insofar petitioner concerned only. ii. Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or direction, directing the respondent Nos.2 to 5 to conduct the elections to the respondent No.4 society by including the names of the petitioners in the eligible voters list of respondent No.4 society as per calendar of events dated 24.12.2025 vide Annexure-D issued by respondent No.5 and permit them to cast their vote in the ensuing election to be held on 19.01.2026. iii. Pass such other orders as may be appropriate in the facts and circumstances - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:7843 WP No. 786 of 2026 of the case, in the ends of justice and equity. 2. Learned Additional Government Advocate submits that there was no interim order granted in this case. Meanwhile, during the pendency of the writ petition, the elections were held on 19.01.2026. The said fact has not been disputed by the petitioner. In view of the same, nothing survives for consideration in this writ petition. 3. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as having rendered infructuous. 4. A liberty is reserved to the petitioners to challenge the elections, if so desired, before the appropriate forum. 5.
