Ibohal, learned counsel along with Mr. Ajitkevin, learned counsel on behalf of the petitioner; Mr. S. Niranjan, learned GA for the State respondents; and Ms. K. Neeru, learned counsel for the respondent nos. 5 & 6. [2] By the present petition, the petitioner approaches this Court with a prayer for quashing a notice issued by Sub-Divisional Officer, Wangoi with regard to eviction order dated 17.11.2025 passed by Deputy Commissioner, Imphal West for evicting him from the premise on the ground that no notice was issued and the provision of Sections 53 & 55 of MLR & LR Act are not attached while issuing notice and this Court stayed the impugned order dated 17.11.2025 on 09.12.2025. The private respondent nos. 5 & 6 also filed an application being MC(WP(C)) No. 605 of 2026 for vacating the interim order. [3] When the matter is taken up today, Mr. M. Ibohal, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner will be approaching appropriate forum and the present writ petition may be closed as infructuous. [4] Ms. K. Neeru, learned counsel for the private respondent nos. 5 & 6 submits that this Court may pass appropriate order in terms of the oral submission made at the bar.
