By means of the present writ petition, petitioner has sought the following reliefs:- “I. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the Government Order/Structure () bearing Government Order No.86/XVIIA-01/2026-24(04)/2008 (E- 41790) dated 11.02.2026, issued by the State Government (contained as Annexure No.4 and Page No.34 to 43 to this writ petition). II. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the transfer order dated 30.06.2026, whereby the petitioner has been transferred from Government Ashram Type Higher Secondary School, Bidora, District Udham Singh Nagar to District Tribal Welfare Officer, Chamoli. (contained as Annexure No.5 and Page No.44 to 46 to this writ petition). III. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the relieving order dated 02.07.2026, issued pursuant to the transfer order dated 30.06.2026 (Contained as Annexure No.6 and Page No.47 to this writ petition).” 2. It is submitted by learned counsel for the State that WPSB Nos.439 of 2026 and 440 of 2026, filed by the Chief Administrative Officers seeking the same relief as UKHC010121772026 2026:UHC:5834 2 prayed for in the present writ petition, have been dismissed by the Division Bench of this Court. The Division Bench observed that the restructuring of the department is a policy decision of the Government undertaken for the smooth functioning of the department and, therefore, does not warrant interference in exercise of writ jurisdiction. It was further observed that the impugned order is not an order of transfer but one of posting pursuant to the restructuring of the department. Accordingly, the aforesaid writ petitions were dismissed by the Division Bench on 14.07.2026 and 15.07.2026. 3. In view of the aforesaid, since the issue involved in the present writ petition is akin to the issue involved in the aforesaid writ petitions, the present writ petition also cannot be sustained. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed in limine. 4. Pending application, if any, stands disposed of accordingly.
