Kausik CRM (NDPS) 646 of 2026 In Re: An Application for Bail under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023/ Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 in connection with Lalgola Police Station Case No. 124 of 2025 dated 12th February, 2025 under section 21(C)/29 of the NDPS Act, 1985. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that there was alleged recovery of 260 Gms. of Heroin from the possession of the petitioner. Earlier there was a direction by this Court to complete the seizure list witnesses within a period of 60 days. However, in spite of efforts, because of otherwise being engaged in administrative duty, the learned Trial Court/Special Court could not complete the same. The learned Trial Court has fixed the next date on 20th April, 2026 as is informed by the learned advocates. 2 Learned Trial Court would complete the said seizure list witnesses within a period of 60 days from 20th April, 2026 and thereafter release the petitioner on bail. With the aforesaid observations CRM (NDPS) 646 of 2026 is disposed of. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
