The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following prayers:-
“a. Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus or such other writ, directing the Respondent No.1 and 2 to continue the services of the Petitioner for Second term, for a further period of Four years, based on the representations made earlier and on par with the others. b. Issue a writ in the nature of certiorari, quashing the Impugned Confidential Reports prepared by the Respondent No.4 for the years 2022, 2023 and 2024, as per ANNEXURE - P Series.
it is in violation of KCS (PR), Rules, 2020. c. Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the Respondents to consider the representations issued at ANNEXURE J1 to J4, and consequently direct the Respondent No.1 and 2 to grant the continuation of service for Second term to the Petitioner. d. Grant such other reliefs as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit in the interests of justice and equity.”
2. The petitioner was initially appointed as a Member of the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Tumakuru,

HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:10811-DB WP No. 2811 of 2026 for a period of five years or till he attains the age of 65 years, whichever was earlier, vide notification dated 03.03.2020. The petitioner, even after five years, continued till 11.03.2025. The petitioner's work conduct has not been found satisfactory during these five years. Once the petitioner's work conduct has not been found satisfactory in a period of five years, there is no question of his candidature being considered for reappointment.
