In the instant writ petition, petitioner has impugned the memorandum of charge-sheet dated 23.02.2026, fundamentally on the ground that same has been issued after retirement of petitioner, that too without seeking permission from the Hon’ble Governor as required under Rule 7 of the Rajasthan Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1996. 2. In addition, petitioner has also raised a grievance that departmental proceedings, pursuant to charge-sheet, may not be continued parallel and simultaneous to the criminal trial, in respect of the similar nature of charges, however, no such prayer has been made by petitioner in the instant writ petition. In that view, counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to file a fresh petition with appropriate pleadings and prayers. 4.
