Petitioner has challenged the transfer order dated 30.06.2026 (annexure-1 to the writ petition) passed by respondent no.2, Director (Training), Directorate of Training and Employment, Uttarakhand, whereby petitioner has been transferred from Government Industrial Training Institute, Sikroda to Government Industrial Training Institute, Tapovan. 2. The main contention of the petitioner is that the options submitted by him have not been considered and he has been transferred to a place which was not included amongst the options given by him. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had furnished ten options for his transfer from an accessible area to a remote area. However, instead of posting him to any of the places indicated in the said options, he has been transferred to Government Industrial Training Institute, Tapovan, which is a remote area not included in the options exercised by him. Per contra, learned State Counsel submits that petitioner has already completed ten years of service at Government Industrial Training Institute, Sikroda, and, therefore, has been transferred under the compulsory transfers from accessible areas to remote areas under the Uttarakhand Annual Transfer for Public Servants Act, 2017. 5. Be that as it may, since petitioner's request for posting at any of the places indicated in the options furnished by him has not been considered, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to submit a fresh representation before respondent no.2, Director (Training), Directorate of Training and Employment, Uttarakhand, within a period of seven days from today, ventilating his grievance and requesting that he be considered for posting at any of the places indicated in the options furnished by him. If such a representation is submitted within the aforesaid period, respondent no.2 shall consider and decide the same, strictly in accordance with law, within seven days from the date of its receipt, considering the grievance raised by the petitioner, sympathetically. 6. Pending application, if any, stands disposed of accordingly.
