The present writ petition has been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India to direct learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Dehradun to expedite the proceedings of the Original Suit No.1252 of 2024, “Shalini Sharma vs. Shashank Jain”, filed under Section 13(1)(i-a) and Section 26 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, as expeditiously as possible. 2. Heard Mr. Hitesh Chandra Sanwal, learned counsel for the petitioner. 3. The said prayer is an innocuous prayer. 4. In the facts and circumstances of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of directing learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Dehradun to expedite the proceedings of the Original Suit No.1252 of 2024, and 1 2026:UHC:876 decide the same as per law as expeditiously as possible and without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties. 5.
