The petitioner, above-named, who is in custody in connection with Nimdih P.S. Case No.53 of 2025 for the offence registered under Sections 318(4) / 338/ 336 (3)/ 340 (2)/ 274 / 275 of the BNS, 2023 and under Sections 47(a)/ 47(b)/ 47(c) / 52 and 55 of the Jharkhand Excise Act has prayed for regular bail. As per the case of prosecution, on secret information, spurious liquor was being made in the house of one Ashok Gope @ Video Gope. Police conducted a raid in which huge quantity of illicit liquor packed in bottles were seized from the place of occurrence and out of which, part of the illicit liquor was being loaded on the tempo of the petitioner. It is submitted by the learned counsel on behalf of petitioner that he has no concern with the manufacturing of illicit liquor and works as driver in Tempo. He is in custody since 16.09.2025. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail. Under the circumstances, the above-named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/-(Twenty- Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court below.
