By consent of the parties, this matter is de- tagged from other connected matters. 3. Counsel for petitioner submits that respondent nos.8 and 9/Eastern Coalfield Limited is excavating at the public road against which petitioner has already preferred a detailed representation dated 04.03.2025. He will be satisfied if the concerned District Magistrate, Paschim Bardhaman is directed to consider and 2 decide that representation, in accordance with law. 4. Learned counsel for the Eastern Coalfields Limited disputed the said contention but, raised no objection, if the said authority is directed to decide the representation by affording an opportunity to the Eastern Coalfields Limited as well. 5. In view of aforesaid stand of the parties, we deem it proper to dispose of this petition by issuing following directions:- (a) Petitioner shall prefer a detailed/ comprehensive representation alongwith relevant documents before the respondent no.4/District Magistrate alongwith server copy of this order within 15 days from today. (b) The respondent no.4, in turn, shall consider and decide the representation, in accordance with 3 law, after hearing the respondent nos.8 and 9 as well. (c) The reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to the parties forthwith. 6. With the aforesaid and without expressing any opinion on merits, this PIL is disposed of. 7.
