1. Heard Mr. Vivek Salunke, the learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. Chandurkar, the learned Additional Government Pleader on behalf of Respondent Nos. 1 to 6 (State).
2. Qua the plea on delay and latches, the learned counsel for the Petitioner invited our attention to Paragraph No. 5 of the Petition and submitted that the Petitioner had no knowledge of the impugned action/communication dated 24th July 2023. First time he realized about the initiation of the impugned action in December
2025.
3. The learned counsel for the Petitioner confines the reliefs sought in the instant Petition to an Application dated 19th January 2026, which is stated to be filed by the Petitioner and pending before Respondent No.1-Inspector General of Registration. Considering the factual situation, we are not inclined to issue notice to the Respondents since the application filed by the Petitioner before the Respondent No.1-Inspector General of Registration is stated to be pending. We expect the same shall be considered and decided in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from today, after affording an opportunity of hearing to all the stake holders.
5. With the aforesaid direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
6. We make it clear that we have not adverted to the merits of the matter and all contentions of the parties are kept open.
