Report submitted by the State is taken on record. By an order passed on 25th September, 2025 in WPA 22981 of 2025 a co-ordinate Bench of this Court
directed the petitioner to approach the jurisdictional police station with appropriate representation and also
directed to the police authority to consider such representation in accordance with law. Pursuant to the said order the petitioner submitted representation before the police authority on 28h October, 2025. Upon holding enquiry, it was found that both the parties claimed to be co-shares in respect of the property in question and the dispute was civil in nature. In view of the above, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the appropriate civil forum for redressal of her grievance. In the meantime, the police authority shall keep strict vigil in the area in order to avoid any untoward incident and ensure peace and tranquility. The police shall render necessary assistance to the petitioner as and when sought. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
2 Since no affidavit has been invited, allegations contained in the writ petition shall be deemed not to have been admitted. Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities. (Suvra Ghosh, J.)
