By filing the present application under Order XVII of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, the applicant seeks an adjournment of the matter on behalf of the election petitioner/applicant. 3. Mr. Rakshap, learned counsel appearing for the respondent/returned candidate, has raised no objection to the prayer made in the application. 4. Upon hearing the learned counsel for the parties and considering the grounds stated in paragraph 3 of the application, this Court is of the view that a short adjournment would meet the ends of justice. 5.
