The instant petitions, are being preferred against the transfer order bearing No. ्䵅मांक/एफ.1-50/2022/29-1 नवा रायपुर अटल नगर, द☿नांक:-14-07-2023 (Annexure-P/1) passed by Upper Secretary of the Food, Civil Supply and Consumer Protection Department. Shri Sudhir Chand Guru, who was earlier posted in District Gariaband, has been transferred to District Narayanpur by way of an 3 administrative order passed by the competent authority. Likewise, Shri Bhuneshwar Satnami, who was serving in District Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai, has been transferred and posted as In-charge Food Officer in District Gariaband, also on administrative grounds. 2. It is pertinent to note that vide order dated 25.07.2023 passed by this Court, the effect and operation of the impugned transfer order was stayed. As a consequence thereof, the petitioners have continued to discharge their duties at their original place of posting. With the passage of considerable time, the impugned order has, in effect, lost its efficacy and has become redundant in the prevailing circumstances. However, it is observed that if the respondent authorities still consider it necessary, in administrative exigency, to effect any transfer, they shall be at liberty to pass a fresh and appropriate order in accordance with law. 3.
