Petitioner participated in a process for selection for appointment to the post of Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Force. By means of this writ petition, he has sought following reliefs: “(I) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing to the respondent authorities to permit the petitioner for the re-medical or appeal medical board for the post of Constable (GD) Central Armed Police Force (CAPFS). (II) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to considered the candidature of the petitioner for the post of Constable (GD) Central Armed Police Force (CAPFS).” 3. Mr. V.K. Kapruwan, learned counsel UKHC010152202018 2026:UHC:5715 appearing for Union of India submits that selection process was initiated in 2012, therefore writ petition has become infructuous by efflux of time. 4. Having regard to the pleadings made in the writ petition and reliefs sought, this Court thinks that petitioner may be given one opportunity to make representation before the competent authority. 5. Accordingly, writ petition is disposed of by permitting petitioner to make representation, highlighting his grievance.
