By means of present writ petition, petitioner has challenged the advertisement issued by respondent no.3 inviting applications for the post of Anganwadi Karyakatri in Anganwadi Center Gokul (Uttarkashi) which is annexed as Annexure No.03 to the petition. 4. Case of petitioner, as unfolded from a perusal of the record, is that the petitioner was selected as Anganwadi Sahiyika in the said Center pursuant to an earlier advertisement issued in the year 2025. Now, the petitioner wants her to be promoted on the post of Anganwadi Karyakatri and therefore, she has opposed the issuance of advertisement issued for the aforesaid post in the said Center. 5. Learned Counsel for the State submits that petitioner can apply pursuant to the said advertisement issued for the post of Anganwadi Karyakatri. However, the challenge made by petitioner that she is already working as Anganwadi Sahaiyika and therefore, she only should be promoted to the said post, cannot be legally available to her. Having heard learned Counsel for the parties and having perused the record, this Court is of the view that the petitioner cannot challenge the impugned advertisement merely on the ground that she is already occupying the post of Anganwadi Sahayika in the said Center and she should be promoted to the post of Anganwadi Karyakatri, for which the impugned advertisement is issued. The petitioner, however, can apply pursuant to the said advertisement in accordance with law. 7. In such view of the matter, no interference is warranted. The writ petition fails and the same is dismissed in limine.
