UKHC010092852019 2026:UHC:5713 SL. No. Date Office Notes, reports, orders or proceedings or directions and Registrar’s order with Signatures COURT’S OR JUDGE’S ORDERS CRJR/2/2019 Uttam Singh --Revisionist Versus State Of Uttarakhand --Respondent Hon’ble Alok Mahra, J. There is no representation for the revisionist. Mr. Prabhat Kandpal, A.G.A. and Mr. Manoj Bhatt, Brief Holder for the State of Uttarakhand. 2. Learned State Counsel submits that the revisionist has already undergone and completed the sentence awarded to him and has since been released from jail. It is, therefore, contended that no surviving cause of action remains for adjudication in the present Criminal Jail Revision, and the same has consequently become infructuous. 3. Having considered the submission advanced by the learned State Counsel and in view of the fact that the revisionist has already served the entire sentence awarded to him and has been released from custody, no effective relief can now be granted in the present revision. 4. Accordingly, the Criminal Jail Revision is dismissed as having become infructuous.
