NO.23403 OF 2026) ORDER :- (per Hon’ble Sri Justice Ravi Nath Tilhari) This writ of Habeas Corpus under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed by the petitioner seeking release of the alleged detenu, on the ground that the alleged detenu was taken into custody on 09.08.2026 and was not produced before the learned Magistrate within a period of 24 hours. 2. Sri J.Krishna Praneeth, learned Assistant Government Pleader attached to the office of the learned Advocate General, appearing for the respondents, submits that he has received written instructions stating that the alleged detenu was taken into custody at 2:00 p.m. on 14.08.2026 and was produced before the learned Magistrate on the very same day, who has since remanded him to judicial custody. 3. In view thereof, without going into the merits of the aforesaid aspect, as the alleged detenu has already been produced before the learned Magistrate and remanded to judicial custody, the writ petition is disposed of, granting liberty to the petitioner to avail such other remedy as may be available to him in accordance with law.
