GP FOR TRANSPORT The Court made the following: 4 ORDER: To declare the action of the District Industries Centre i.e., respondent Nos.3 & 4 in passing instructions to the RTA, Narasaraopet i.e., respondent No.5 to hold issuance of fresh RC for vehicle bearing Reg.No.AP39JF5518, as illegal and arbitrary, the present writ petition is filed. 2. Heard Sri Thota Ashok, learned counsel representing Sri Kunuku Rajasekhar, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Industries and Sri Maganti Sai Krishna, learned counsel for the unofficial respondents. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader on written instructions dated 29.07.2026 submitted that District Industries Officer has already issued No Objection Certificate to the District Transport Officer, as such, nothing remains for adjudication, accordingly, prayed to pass appropriate orders. 4. In reply, learned counsel for the petitioner requested to record the said submission and close the writ petition. 5. Taking their submissions into consideration, as the respondents have already issued NOC to the District Transport Officer for issuance of RC, there remains nothing for adjudication, as such, this Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition. If at all the unofficial respondents have any 5 grievance against the said NOC, they can take steps in accordance with law. 6. Learned counsel for the unofficial respondents brought to the notice of this Court that the unofficial respondents are ready and willing to pay an amount of Rs.28,42,797.20/- as claimed by the petitioner in their affidavit in I.A.No.3 of 2026. However, sought liberty to pay the said amount in four equal installments. 7. Learned counsel for the petitioner reported no objection to receive the said amount in installments and submitted that if the unofficial respondents pay that amount, they have no objection to release the vehicles. However, in the event, if the unofficial respondents failed to pay any installment, a liberty may be given to the petitioner to take steps in accordance with law. 8. Taking their submissions into consideration and with the consent of both the learned counsel for the parties, to meet the ends of justice, this Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition directing the petitioner to release the vehicle of the unofficial respondents subject to payment of first installment of four equal installments of Rs.28,42,797.20/- and the remaining amount in three equal installments i.e., one installment in each month. In the event, the unofficial respondents failed to pay any 6 installment, the petitioner is at liberty to take steps in accordance with law. 9. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
