Mr. Saurabh Kumar Pandey, learned counsel for petitioner. 2. Mr. Suyash Pant, learned Standing Counsel with Mr. B.S. Koranga, learned Brief Holder for the State of Uttarakhand/respondents. 3. Petitioner’s father had three Arms Licence. He was an Ex-Serviceman. After the death of petitioner’s father, as per the Rule of Succession, licence was transferred to petitioner being the eldest son. Vide order dated 30.10.2025, which is impugned as Annexure No.5, learned District Magistrate, cancelled petitioner’s Arms Licence No.3058/GII/TNT/2001 of SBBL Gun No.C7095 dated 10.08.2025. 4. Petitioner has challenged the aforesaid order before this Court by filing present writ petition. 5. Learned State Counsel submits that the order impugned in the present writ petition dated 30.10.2025 is appealable under Rule 105 of the Arms Rules, 2016 and the appeal is available to the petitioner before learned Commissioner of Division. 6. This Court finds favour with the argument advanced by learned State Counsel. 7. Accordingly, the present writ petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to avail statutory remedy available to him. (Pankaj Purohit, J.) 09.02.2026 PN
