This contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner under the Contempt of Courts Act, alleging willful and deliberate disobedience of this Court's order dated 18.05.2026, passed in WPSS No. 1823 of 2025, Pradip Chakraborty vs. Union of India & others, whereby petitioner was directed to make a fresh representation to the Competent Authority within ten days, and the Competent Authority-ARIES was directed to decide the said representation within four weeks from the date of receipt of such representation. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the representation of the petitioner has been decided by respondent no.2-Director, ARIES. He further submits that the said representation has been rejected by order dated 19.06.2026. The rejection is based on the same facts on which the petitioner was denied promotion, which was challenged by the petitioner in the writ petition. 4. Be that as it may, in the opinion of this Court, since compliance of the order has been made, UKHC010114672026 2026:UHC:5638 therefore, no contempt is made out against the respondents-contemnors. Accordingly, contempt petition is dismissed.
