This is an application filed under Section 482 BNSS, 2023, praying for pre- arrest bail for accused/applicant in connection with Mankachar P.S. Case No. Page No.# 2/2 26/2026 under Section 140(2)/3(5) added Section 61 (2) of BNS, 2023. 3. An FIR was lodged on 09.02.2026 by one Ful Begum alleging that on 09.02.2026 at about 6 o’clock, the accused persons named in the FIR came to their house and took her husband along with them; that the aforementioned persons after taking the husband of the informant to an unknown place demanded a ransom of Rs. 2,00,000/- through a mobile phone No. 8453613679 to her mobile number; that the accused/applicant threatened to kill him if the aforesaid ransom money is not paid. In view of the aforesaid, the FIR was lodged by the informant and police registered as Mankachar P.S. Case No. 26/2026 under Section 140(2)/3(5) added Section 61 (2) of BNS, 2023. 4. A co-ordinate Bench of this Court on 23.03.2026 granted interim pre-arrest bail to the accused/applicant with a direction to accused/applicant to appear before the investigating authority within 7(seven) days. 5. The case diary in the instant case has been produced before this Court and the same is perused. 6. On perusal of the case diary, it is prima facie found sufficient incriminating materials against the accused/applicant of his involvement in the allegation that has been narrated in the FIR. 7. Taking into account the aforesaid interim order dated 23.03.2026 passed by the co-ordinate Bench of this Court is hereby cancelled. 8.
