This is an application under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, praying for grant of bail to the accused-applicant in connection with Sonai Police Station Case No.41/2026 registered under Sections 196(1) (a)/299/351(2)/352/353(1)(c)/49/61(2) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. 3. An FIR dated 12.05.2026 was lodged by the informant alleging that the accused-applicant was spreading a provocative and abusive video on social media against the Vice-Chairman of Sonai Municipal Board and concerned AP President of Banskandi Development Block 4. Mr. D.P. Goswami, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that charge sheet has already been filed in the instant case vide Charge Sheet No. 44/2026 dated 07.06.2026. 5.
