Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that his father Palaniyandi Pillai and his brother Rajendran executed general power of attorney dated 12.08.1993 bearing Document No.243 of 1993 in favour of one Sivaprakasa Pillai. Upon the death of the petitioner’s father on 19.01.2004, he submits that the contract of agency came to an end.
