The present writ petition has been filed seeking following reliefs: 2 “(I) That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent No. 4 to place the petitioner below the employee appointed in the year of 2006 and accordingly correct the gradation list of Class-IV employee (Peon) (ii) That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to consider the representation of the petitioner. (iv) That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other relief/reliefs as it may deems fit and appropriate” 2. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has submitted representation which is pending consideration and, therefore, direction be issued to respondent No. 4 to take decision on the pending representation within specified time frame. 3. On the other hand, learned counsel for the Respondents/State would submit that as petitioner is not pressing this writ petition on merits and is only seeking a direction to submit representation before the concerned authority, he is having no objection to the limited prayer. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents placed on record. 5. On due consideration of the submission of counsel for the respective parties, facts and circumstances of the case, nature of grievance raised by the petitioner, without entering into the merits of the claim of petitioner, this writ petition at this stage is disposed 3 of directing respondent No. 4 to take decision on the pending representation Annexure-P/5 dated 08.01.2026 on its own merits, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of 02 months from the date of receipt of order. The petitioner will be at liberty to submit fresh representation if he so desire. 6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ petition stands disposed of.
