After arguing for a while, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the fact that the petitioner has not issued the cheque in question, the petitioner would be satisfied, in the event, the present petition is disposed of by directing the learned Special Mobile Magistrate, Electricity, Jammu to expedite the proceedings in the complaint titled “Kamlesh Singh vs. Shameem Ahmed Sheikh and others” under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act. 2. In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with direction to the learned Special Mobile Magistrate, Electricity, Jammu to ensure that no unnecessary adjournments are granted to either of the parties and the complaint titled “Kamlesh Singh vs. Shameem Ahmed Sheikh and others” is taken to its logical conclusion, as expeditiously as possible. 3.
