Mr. Amitabh Shukla Mr. Prakash Chandra Pandey … for the WBSEDCL The petitioner prays for extension of time to deposit an ad hoc sum of Rs.2,50,000/- to the WBSEDCL in terms of an earlier direction dated 7th January, 2025 passed in a prior round of litigation being WPA 167 of 2025 (Sk. Hasmat Ali Vs. The Chairman and Managing Director, WBSEDCL & Ors.). On behalf of WBSEDCL, it is submitted that they have no objection if the time to deposit the said amount of Rs.2,50,000/- is extended. In view of the submissions made on behalf of the parties, the time to deposit an ad hoc sum of Rs.2,50,000/- to the WBSEDCL stands extended till 23rd February, 2026. It is made clear that the order dated 7th January, 2025 stands modified only to the above limited extent. 2 The other terms and conditions of the order dated 7th January, 2025 are not interfered with.
