It is the contention of the petitioner that the petitioner's father late Sri.Govindaiah was granted 4 acres of land in Sy.No.94 of Doddasulikere Village, Kootagal Hobli, Ramanagara Taluk and District in terms of Government Order No.GOVT.0586-98RM853760 dated 29.06.1944 the petitioner's father paid the kimmat and accordingly a grand certificate was also issued in favour of the petitioner's father and the petitioner's father's name was entered in the revenue records. However after computerisation and digitisation the name of the petitioner's father was discontinued from the revenue records. Therefore the prayer in the petition is to direct the respondent revenue authorities to continue the name of the petitioner's father in the computerised RTC and thereafter consider the request of the petitioner to enter the names of the legal heirs of late Sri.Govindaiah in the revenue records. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:11489 WP No. 13883 of 2024 3. The writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent-Tahsildar, Ramanagara Taluk, to verify from the records and find out if grant was made in favour of the petitioner's father and if the petitioner's father has paid the kimath. If it is found from the records that the facts stated hereinabove are true, then the Tahsildar shall proceed to enter the name of the petitioner's father in the computerised RTC in accordance with law. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Ordered accordingly.
