Page No.# 3/4 submitted that an inadvertent mistake was committed while drafting the writ petition inasmuch as the names of the fathers of the petitioners were incorrectly mentioned. The learned counsel submitted that the father of the petitioner No. 1 ought to have been laid as Late Babur Ali Mazumder, whereas the father of the petitioner No. 2 ought to have been laid as Late Aftab Uddin Mazumder. The learned counsel further submitted that the applicants should not be made to suffer on account of an mistake committed by the counsel and, therefore, submitted that the said mistake be permitted to be rectified. 3.
Considering the fact that it is a settled principle of law that the parties should not suffer on account of a mistake committed by the counsel, this Court permits the applicants to file a fresh amended Memo of Parties before the Registry of this Court with the correct names of their respective fathers. 4. The Registry on the basis of the fresh amended Memo of Parties as well as the present order shall make necessary corrections in the cause title of WP(C) No. 886/2026 and update the same in the CIS. 5. On the basis of the corrected cause title, the Registry is further directed to issue a certified copy of the order dated 18.02.2026 passed in WP(C) No. 886/2026, subject to payment
