Learned Standing Counsel has placed on record the instructions received from the Commissioner, according to which, the petitioner is a Group ‘B’ employee, therefore, as per Section 21(1) of the Uttarakhand Annual Transfer for Public Servants Act, 2017, he has been transferred on the recommendation of the Transfer Committee by the Commissioner, who is head of the Department. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has already made representation to the department and, therefore, prays for withdrawal of the writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to press his representation. 1 UKHC010115372026 2026:UHC:5619-DB 3.
