Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 10th April, 2025, charge-sheet has been submitted, however, there are no instructions that charges have been framed or any witness action has commenced. Learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail and draws the attention of the Court to the medico legal examination of the victim. I have taken into account the overall circumstances. At this stage, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. However, the petitioner would be at liberty to approach this Court after the evidence of the victim is over. Accordingly, CRM(M)497 of 2026 is dismissed.
