When the matter came up before this Court 20.02.2026, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is ready to deposit a sum of Rs.50,00,000/- as a security to the suit claim and he is willing to file an undertaking affidavit to that effect. On 27.02.2026, the petitioner had filed an undertaking affidavit wherein he had undertook to deposit a sum of Rs.50,00,000/-, without prejudice to his right, within the time stipulated by this Court and the same has been recorded by this Court. 3. The respondent/plaintiff filed a suit for recovery of a sum of Rs.50 lakhs against the petitioner/defendant. Now, without prejudice to his right, the defendant is ready to deposit the suit claim. Hence, the petitioner is directed to deposit the sum of Rs.50,00,000/- [Rupees fifty lakhs only] as undertook by him, before the trial Court within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. On such deposit, the Order of attachment passed in I.A.No.2 of 2024 dated 15.11.2024 is Ordered to be raised against the property https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CRP No. 903 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 4 of the petitioner and thereafter, the trial Court shall communicate the Order of raising of attachment to the concerned Sub Registrar. If there is any deviation, the Order will be recalled by giving notice to the respondent/plaintiff. 4. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of.
