The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs:- “10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly please without going into the merit of the case pass a direction to the Appellate Authority Respondent No. 3 to decide the pending appeal within a given time frame. 10.2 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct to Respondent No. 2 to look over and supervise for the expeditious disposal of petitioner’s case. 10.3 Any other relief your lordship deem fit and proper.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has preferred an appeal dated 10.06.2025 against the order of punishment before the Appellate Authority on 16.04.2025, however, it has not been considered and decided and therefore, direction be issued to the Appellate Authority to consider and take decision on the appeal at the earliest within specified time frame. 3. On the other hand, learned counsel for the Respondents/State would submit that as petitioner is not pressing this writ petition on merits and is only seeking a direction to the Appellate Authority to consider and take decision on the pending appeal, she is having no objection to the limited prayer. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents placed on record. 5. On due consideration of the submission of counsel for the respective parties, facts and circumstances of the case, nature of grievance raised by the petitioner, without entering into the merits of the claim of petitioner, this writ petition at this stage is disposed of directing the Respondent No. 3 to take decision on the appeal dated 10.06.2025 filed by the petitioner on its own merits in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of 04 months from the date of receipt of representation. 3 6.
