The petitioner has filed this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution, arraying the States of Gujarat, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, and Haryana as respondent Nos. 1 to 6, and its banker – ICICI Bank Limited [“Bank”] as respondent No. 7. 2. It is contended that the law enforcement agencies in the aforesaid States have issued liens on the petitioner’s bank accounts for various sums, however, the Bank has attached the entire accounts of the petitioner, resulting in the complete paralysis of the petitioner’s business. In these circumstances, Mr. Farrukh Tabish, learned counsel for the petitioner, seeks permission to withdraw this writ petition, with liberty to the petitioner to file a civil writ petition directed against the Bank, rather than for the relief sought in the present petition. 4. The petition, alongwith pending application, is dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty as aforesaid. 5. Needless to say, this order will not preclude the petitioner from challenging the orders of lien before the jurisdictional forums, if so advised.
