JUSTICE ANJAN MONI KALITA ORDER Date : 10.06.2026 Heard Mr. S.K. Singha, learned counsel appearing for the accused/ applicant. Also heard Mr. K.K Das, learned APP for the State. This is an application under Section 482 of the BNSS,2023 praying for Page No.# 2/2 granting of pre-arrest bail to the accused/ applicant, namely Rohit Kumar Singha, in connection with Hojai P.S. Case No.85/2026 under Sections 74/ 117(2)/ 296/ 118(2)/ 3(5) of the BNS,2023. A co-ordiante Bench of this Court vide order dated 07.05.2026 has granted interim pre-arrest bail to the accused/ applicant with a direction to appear before the Investigating Officer within 7 (seven) days. The learned APP submits that charge-sheet in the instant case has already been submitted vide C.S. No.73/2026 dated 29.05.2026. In view of the aforesaid, the learned counsel appearing for the accused/ applicant that he should be allowed to appear before the jurisdictional Court for appropriate relief. Accordingly, the AB application is disposed of with a direction to the accused/ applicant to appear before the jurisdictional Court within a period of 15 (fifteen) days from passing of this order and till his appearance before the jurisdictional Court the interim order so passed earlier on 07.05.2026 shall continue.
