Order 25/05/2026 The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, praying therein that a direction be issued to the Commissioner, Devasthan Department, Rajasthan, Udaipur, to hear and decide the Appeal bearing No.29/2021 titled as Dr. Raj Ishwar D. Khare Vs. Dr. Srinivasan Ramanathan & Ors. pending before the Devasthan Department, Udaipur, within a stipulated period.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present matter has been pending since the Year 2019 and has been listed for final arguments for a considerable period of time. It is further submitted that no final hearing has taken place and the aforesaid appeal came to be adjourned continuously. It is, therefore, prayed that appropriate directions be issued for expeditious disposal of the case. Heard. Perused. Looking to the overall facts & circumstances of the case & considering the submissions made at bar, the Commissioner Devasthan Department, Rajasthan Udaipur is directed to decide the aforesaid appeal No.29/2021 pending before the Devasthan Department, Rajasthan Udaipur preferably within a period of four months in accordance with law, from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. Consequently, the present writ petition is disposed of. Pending application(s), if any, also stands disposed of. Office is directed to send a copy of this order to the Commissioner Devasthan Department, Rajasthan Udaipur.
