The instant C 528 petition has been preferred for expediting the proceedings of Complaint Case No. 44 of 2024 – Old No. 6 of 2023 (Shanti Kashyap Vs. Mohit Kashyap and others) pending in the court of learned Judicial Magistrate, Doiwala, District Dehradun wherein present applicant is facing the trial for the offence punishable under Section 406 IPC. 3. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that applicant got divorce from respondent no. 1 in Original Suit No. 56 of 2020 by judgment and decree dated 16.01.2024 and during the pendency of the divorce petition, present complaint case no. 44 of 2024 was filed. He submits that present applicant wants to contest Complaint Case No. 44 of 2024 which is pending since 2023, therefore, the same may be expedited. 4. Since relief as sought appears to be innocuous, and as such, the instant C528 petition is disposed of finally with the direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Doiwala, District Dehradun to expedite the proceedings of Complaint Case No. 44 of 2024 – Old No. 6 of 2023 (Shanti Kashyap Vs.
