Report submitted by the State be kept with the record. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody for over four years and there has no progress in the trial of the case. On the other hand learned advocate for the State submits that earlier the prayer for bail has been rejected on several occasions. Be that as it may, there were also directions for concluding the trial within a specified period. Out of 23 witnesses proposed to be examined 18 witnesses have already been examined. The examination of rest of the witnesses including under Section 313 Cr.P.C. be concluded and the verdict be pronounced by 30th of June, 2026. 2 With the aforesaid observations CRM (M) 2374 of 2025 is disposed of. Learned advocate for the State would through the Investigating Officer of the case or the learned Public Prosecutor conducting the trial communicate this order to the learned trial Court at the earliest so that the schedule be fixed inconsonance with the directions passed by this Court.
