Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the records. 2. By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for a direction to the respondent Nos. 2 & 3 to correct the name of the petitioner from 'Ramvriksh" to 'Brij Mohan' in his Aadhaar records. 3. Learned counsel for the respondent submits that a simple representation would not do the needful. He submits that as per the standing operating procedure provided under the Janhit Guarantee Act 2011, petitioner is required to first get a Gazette notification of her changed name as she wants and after Gazette notification she can get an application filed before the regional office of the respondent no. 3 to get his name changed in the Aadhaar records. 4. After getting changed his name notified vide gazette notification, petitioner shall apply before competent authority namely respondent nos. 2 & 3 for change of name in his Aadhaar records, and if he moves any such application, that shall be disposed of by respondent nos. 2 & 3 within a further period of six weeks. 5. With the aforesaid observations and directions, this petition stands disposed of.
