SOMA RAJU YELISETTI The Court made the following: 3 ORDER: This Contempt Case is filed under Sections 10 to 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for willful, wanton and deliberate disobedience in implementation of the order passed by this Court on 08.12.2025 in W.P.No.32223 of 2025. 2. Aggrieved by the action of the respondents/contemnors in no releasing the amount of Rs.7,04,984/- to the petitioner pursuant to the works executed by him as per the agreement Nos.89 and 88/2024-25, the petitioner filed W.P.No.32223 of 2025. This Court, on 08.12.2025, passed the following order: “6. In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, and the directions of this Court in various cases and after hearing the submissions of learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to release the amounts to the petitioner in accordance with the two quality control certificates i.e1.dated 10.09.2025 for as um of Rs.3,90,757/- and 2. Dated 10.09.2025 for a sum of Rs.3,14,227/- issued by the respondents, within a period of three (03) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. ” 3. Heard learned counsel on either side. 4. Today when the matter came up for hearing, learned counsel for contemnors furnished a copy of letter addressed by the Principal Secretary to Government, Finance Department, bearing No.FINO1- FMU0MISC/350/2022(1778130), dated 07.08.2026 wherein it is stated that an amount of Rs.7,82,554/- was paid to the petitioner (vide bill No.2026- 4 71074055, dated 07.08.2026 for an amount of Rs.3,48,985/- and bill No.2026- 71031452, dated 07.08.2026, for an amount of Rs.4,33,569/-). Learned counsel for the petitioner admitted the said fact. 5. In view of the same, this contempt case is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
