2. Mr. Yogesh Pandey, Deputy Advocate General for the State of Uttarakhand.

Petitioner has challenged a notice as well as the order dated 19.07.2018, passed by District Excise Officer, Dehradun, whereby petitioner was asked to deposit Rs. 66,85,022/- in Government Treasury within one week, failing which appropriate action would be taken for recovery of said amount as arrears of land revenue.
4. Learned State Counsel submits that the order, impugned in this writ petition, is challengeable under Section 11 of Excise Act, 1910. Thus, he submits that petitioner has remedy of appeal under Section 11 of the said Act.
5. The said submission is not disputed by learned counsel for the petitioner. Since petitioner has statutory remedy available, therefore, this Court is not

2026:UHC:5569 inclined to entertain the challenge thrown to the order passed by District Excise Officer.
6. The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed with liberty to petitioner to approach the appropriate forum.
