Mahanta, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner. Mr. K.P. Pathak, the learned Standing Counsel appears on behalf of the APDCL. 2. The instant writ petition has been filed challenging the e- mail dated 15.05.2026 whereby the petitioner was informed that pursuant to the recommendation of the Vendor Evaluation Committee in its meeting held on 29.03.2026, the vendor approval granted to the petitioner's firm had been cancelled until further notice, in view of the discontinuation of vendor registration for next five years letter received from the state utility (SBPDCL). 3. Mr. K.P. Pathak, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the APDCL submitted that subsequent to the filing of the Page No.# 3/3 present writ petition the Respondent Authorities in a meeting held on 06.06.2026 have withdrawn the cancellation of the petitioner's vendor approval communicated vide the e-mail dated 15.05.2026. In that regard, the learned Standing Counsel has placed before this Court a communication dated 09.06.2026 issued by the Chief General Manager (PP&D), APDCL which is kept on record and marked with the letter “X”. 4.
