According to her, private respondents have purchased a piece of land admeasuring 1604 square meter abutting the land belonging to petitioner and they are now trying to interfere with the petitioner’s peaceful possession. 4. Petitioner contends that private respondents could not have purchased the land, next to petitioner’s land, without prior permission of the competent authority as per provisions of U.P. Zamindari Abolition and Land Reforms Act. 5. Learned State Counsel is right in submitting that this appears to be a dispute between two neighbours, and this fact is corroborated from the pleading made in paragraph no. 11 of the writ petition. The writ petition is dismissed with liberty to petitioner to approach the appropriate forum.
