JUSTICE ANANT RAMANATH HEGDE ORAL ORDER The petition is filed seeking writ in the nature of Mandamus to the Industrial Tribunal, to dispose of the interim application at I.A.No.1. 2. It is submitted that the arguments on the said application filed by the present petitioner to implead himself as a party was heard and posted for orders on 13.08.2025. 3. It is submitted that the order is not yet passed. It is further submitted that there is no progress in the matter and that the application was filed on 11.07.2024. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:24298 WP No. 13830 of 2026 4. The writ of Mandamus to seek the relief of this nature, generally would not lie. The Court taking note of the fact that application is said to have been filed on 11.07.2024 and after hearing the parties the case was posted for orders on 13.08.2025, is of the view that the Tribunal should pass appropriate orders on the said application within a reasonable time. 5. Hence, the petition is allowed without issuing notice to the respondent as no order is passed against the respondent. 6. The petitioner shall communicate this order to the respondent and thereafter place an acknowledgment before the Industrial Tribunal and the Industrial Tribunal shall pass necessary orders in accordance with law within a reasonable period. 7. In case, the respondent is aggrieved by the order passed by this Court, it is at liberty to move the application for modification or recalling of the order. - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:24298 WP No. 13830 of 2026 8. The Court expects that the order on the pending application would be passed within a reasonable time. Nothing is expressed on the merits of the matter.
