(2) Petitioner was engaged through contractor for discharging duties as Technical Supervisor in Haridwar Roorkee Development Authority (HRDA). His engagement was discontinued, vide order dated 16.5.2025, in view of certain complaints against him. Petitioner has approached this Court challenging the order dated 16.5.2025. (3) After arguing for a while, learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has made representation for his reengagement on 12.1.2026, therefore the Secretary, HRDA be directed to take decision on his representation. (4) Ms. Ananya Jain, learned Counsel appearing for respondent no. 2, submits that petitioner has approached the Minority Commission against the order of his disengagement and Minority Commission has passed an order in favour of petitioner and HRDA has filed a writ petition challenging the said order and that writ petition is still pending before a coordinate Bench of this Court. She, however, submits that if the competent authority has not taken decision on petitioner’s representation, then decision shall be take within six weeks. (5) Writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by taking the statement made by Ms. Ananya Jain on record.
